Optimal prevention calls for critical skills in research and guiding patients’ compliance practices. Today’s patient profile presents a variety of risk factors which impact their dental and overall health.
As fluoride is still the gold standard in preventive therapy, the latest innovations in Calcium and Phosphate technologies prove to be significant in how the fluoride is taken up in the oral environment. Today’s program will review the indications for treatment during office visits as well as recommendations for take-home application while addressing the most common oral symptoms.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the participant should be able to identify the risks, symptoms and clinical manifestations of oral diseases and make the best suggestion in home care products that fit individual patient needs. Clinicians will also be familiar with the various forms of Calcium Phosphates and the products they are in.
